This wine has aromas of boysenberry, baked cherry and suede with hints of baking spice from the oak.On the palete it reveals dark cherry, plum and the boysenberry character from the nose, however it is still an elegant wine. It has a beautiful structure with soft tannins and acidity that lead to a mice balance of fruit, acid and oak.The acidity makes this wine very good with food and rewards the patient oenophile with the tertiary flavors you can find in an aged Red Burgundy. With decanting it is very smooth and approachable but should reach its peak in 4 to 5 years.
